PMW (P)
Pigmented fire protection coating system for wood
For interior and protected outdoor use
Renitherm® PMW (P) is an intumescent coating on synthetic resin dispersion base
which forms a carbon char under the effect of heat, thus insulating the substrate
Renitherm® PMW (P) fire protection coating for wood insulates against heat,
check the fire, prevents propagation of fire, and diminishes flue-gas density and
flue-gas temperature, protects real values for and reduces the risk of damage
Renitherm® PMW (P) fire protection coating for wood has been tested to BS 476: 7.
Classified solid wood and wooden materials as hardly combustible B1.
